The Deacons were active in many different aspects of our congregation’s work and worship.
Meals were delivered to those who were just returning home form the hospital; encouraging notes and small gifts were sent to church members who were home bound; and support was extended to those in need in our congregation and the community.
The Deacons prepared the Communion elements when the Lord’s Supper was celebrated and arranged for church members to donate flowers for the sanctuary.
The Board of Deacons was combined with Congregational Life & Worship Committee as of January 1, 2020, to not only serve our church family but also encourage our church as they seek to extend kindness and compassion to those in need.
